Boats need love and attention if they are to stay looking good and retain their value. Simply by having a regular basic clean the elements won't get a grip on your prized possession, but neglect her for too long and it will be a struggle to get her back to standard. Things start to corrode, fibreglass gets black, the deck gets green and her value will decrease significantly.
From experience, we have found that the best way to avoid deterioration is a once a month BOAT WASH, which includes a good deck scrub, thorough wash of the hull, cockpit, coach-roof, stainless wash, fabric scrub.
Approximately once every four months you should have the vessel VALETED, which aims at restoring the beauty of the boat, and getting rid of any long term effects of the elements. This service also includes teak clean and restore, brighten GRP decking and cockpit, deep clean of covers, polish all stainless steel, rust and other stain removal and prevention.
As a final touch, your vessel may also need the HULL POLISHING, from waterline to toe-rail. This makes a great difference to the appearance of the boat, and is a great thing to do at least once a year. Highly recommended if you are thinking of selling in the future.
Please note that we may have to make an extra charge for vessels that have deteriorated greatly, due to the extra work involved in restoring her
